2016 Kia Cadenza Release date, Review, Price

Kia made a huge step forward with its Kia Cadenza. The Korean automaker has grown up as a brand over the last decade, with both the K900 and the Cadenza. With this two models, it is now capable to become one of the most respective automakers in those segments. The company still needs to work on some things, but the Cadenza is a great option for all buyers who are looking for a premium full-size with a nice, affordable price. The 2016 Kia Cadenza is coming with more power, a dual-clutch unit, standard features and higher-grade materials. It is improved in almost every department. Unfortunately, it won`t come with an AWD system, so one part of buyers will probably not like it, but everything else is pretty good.

Exterior design of 2016 Cadenza

Talking about the exterior, the 2016 Kia Cadenza will come with a sportier look. It is accomplished thanks to a revised tiger nose grille and an aggressive front fascia with its ice-cube LED fog-lamps. At the back, the sportier look will be provided by a larger trunk-lid spoiler and new taillight clusters.
The new Kia`s model will also have a reshaped rear quarter-window, front fender grille, rear overhang and a bit longer wheelbase.
There is no doubt, the 2016 Kia Cadenza is looking real good.

2016 Kia Cadenza Interior design

As for the interior, the new Kia Cadenza will keep its cabin design clean, with Nappa leather-wrapped seats, chrome accents, a leather-topped dash and all the goodies usually found in premium German sedans which is a huge plus for this model. Thanks to the longer wheelbase and reconfigured interior layout, the new Cadenza will increase its legroom space in the rear. It will also come with a larger trunk.

Kia Cadenza 2016 Engine

Engine wise, don`t expect to find a new power-plant under the 2016 Kia Cadenza, but it will definitely come with an upgraded 3.3-liter V-6. It can be assumed that this upgraded engine will be able to produce around 340 hp and 310 pound-feet of torque. The good news is that the model will get a new seven-speed, dual-clutch unit, which will replace the current six-speed transmission. It will make this model quicker from 0 to 60 mph and give better fuel economy numbers. The numbers of the current model are: 19 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg combined, while it needs 6.9 seconds to reach 60.

Price of 2016 Kia Cadenza

Even though the new Cadenza is coming with some significant updates, its price should not come increased for more than $3.000 over the current model. That means its price should be around $ 37.000 and with that price it will stay competitive against some similar products from U.S. automakers and way more cheap and better equipped than the German rivals. The other things that are good about the 2016 Kia Cadenza are its more powerful V-6 and dual-clutch transmission, and, of course, its updates styling with sportier cues. Unfortunately, the new Cadenza won’t have AWD system, but it is possible that the company will seriously work on that.
Its main rivals are: the Chrysler 300 and the BMW 5 series.
